Recognised
Asked about you by name, the AI system recognises your organisation.
Our Framework
A structured way to measure how well an organisation is recognised, represented and included when AI systems mediate customer decisions.
Most leadership teams sense that AI is reshaping how customers find and evaluate providers. Far fewer can say where their own organisation stands, or what specifically needs to improve.
The Discovery Standard closes that gap. It defines AI Discovery performance through three eligibility rungs, recognised, represented and included, with chosen reported separately as an outcome layer.
The Standard
Each rung depends on the one beneath it. An organisation cannot be included in an unbranded customer answer if the AI system does not first recognise the organisation and represent it accurately. Chosen is measured as customer behaviour, not as a scored rung.
Asked about you by name, the AI system recognises your organisation.
When the AI system knows you, it describes your organisation accurately, currently and coherently.
For an unbranded customer need, your organisation is named in the set of options the AI system surfaces.
Customers reach your site and convert. This is reported as an outcome layer, not as a scored rung.
A single score can hide where the chain breaks. The Standard reports standing, chain status and a performance score, so leadership can see both the current cap and the measured strength of each rung.
Chosen is kept separate because it is customer behaviour. It helps show whether AI-mediated discovery is translating into visits and conversion, but it does not change the measured eligibility rungs.
The Discovery Standard underpins everything we do. The Playbook establishes your current position against it, Advancement improves that position, and Intelligence keeps it under continuous measurement as the landscape shifts.
One framework runs through all three, so a baseline taken today remains comparable with the progress you report a year from now.
